🍰 We are looking for a Junior Pastry Chef to join Almanac X Alcron Prague!

Would you like to grow in pastry in an iconic hotel in the heart of Prague and be part of a kitchen with a real story? Join Almanac X Alcron Prague and help us create the sweet side of our gastronomy inspired by the new concept of Brasserie 1932.

Brasserie 1932 builds on the First Republic heritage of Alcron and brings it into a modern, relaxed setting. Our approach is based on honest craftsmanship, clean flavours, high-quality local ingredients and classic French technique. We want our guests to feel naturally at ease — whether they come for a business lunch, dinner, coffee and dessert, a family gathering or a special event.

Alcron has always been connected with outstanding gastronomy. Today, we are writing its next chapter together — across Brasserie 1932, Elias Coffee Shop, banqueting and other F&B areas of the hotel.

Under the guidance of our Head Pastry Chef Markéta, you will learn how to work with quality ingredients and prepare desserts that delight hotel guests, local visitors and your colleagues alike.

 

What will you do?

You will enjoy varied work across the whole hotel operation — from vegan desserts for the coffee shop, cakes and traditional bakes for hotel breakfast, to à la carte desserts for the restaurant, coffee breaks for meetings and something sweet for your colleagues in the staff canteen.

You will work with quality, seasonal and local ingredients.

You will work 12-hour shifts, including occasional weekends and public holidays.

Following HACCP rules and hotel standards will be a natural part of your daily work.

 

What are we looking for?

Passion for pastry and a willingness to learn.

At least 1 year of experience in a pastry kitchen or professional gastronomy environment.

Experience from a hotel environment is an advantage, but not a must.

Team spirit, reliability and a positive attitude.

Basic English is an advantage, but not required.
